We wanted to give you an update regarding the latest announcement of the “shelter in place”.

We are considered an essential business, as hardware and other home supply stores, and intend to stay open as long as possible.

We are in a difficult place, balancing keeping our employees and customers safe and making sure all of you are able to continue receiving pay. We are doing our best to make the right decisions for everyone, and our ultimate goal is to do what’s best for all of you.

Please do your part to follow the CDC recommendations.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Stay home when you are sick.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

We will continue to diligently clean the facilities.

If you are sick, we encourage you to stay home. If you are unable to attend work, please notify your Supervisor with a specific reason. At this time, we will be deducting this time from your PTO banks, however, depending on what government assistance is provided, there is potential for reimbursement in the future.

Ashby Lumber is a strong company and we want to assure you that we will all make it through this together. We will continue to keep you updated as things progress.
